What are the Dancing Soles made of?
The soles are made out of suede of a specific thickness to provide the perfect amount of friction between the bottom of your shoes and the dance floor.
Are they temporary or permanent? How long can you leave them on?
The Dancing Soles, although intended to temporarily convert your regular shoes into dancing shoes, can be left on for a long time. You will be able to enjoy them for multiple dance sessions before the adhesive will start to give. If you wish to extend their lifetime, we recommend to make sure that the soles of your shoes are clean before the Dancing Soles are attached.
Can I use them multiple times?
If the protective backing is not discarded, multiple use is possible. Of course, the number of uses will depend on multiple factors, including how much care is taken when the Dancing Soles are attached, removed, and used. They are intended to be used under the same conditions as regular dancing shoes.
Can you wear them on the street or just the dance floor?
Using the Dancing Soles on the street will introduce dirt and additional wear, reducing their lifetime, as is the case with any pair of dancing shoes with a permanent suede bottom. If you wish to use the same pair of shoes on the street, we recommend for the Dancing Soles to be removed and reattached to the protective backing when the dancing is done.
Do they leave a sticky surface if you remove them?
The adhesive backing is strong enough to allow you to attach them to the soles of your shoes with good adhesion, but leaves very little residue when they are removed.
